SYSMAN Features & Utilization

This webinar will explore all of the features in the SYSMAN utility. This utility centralizes a lot of the system management tasks in one location. It also allows you to schedule a shutdown of a single system or an entire cluster from a single machine. The features that will be covered include: Maintain the Automatic Login Facility (ALF) Spawn & attach to sub-processes; Maintain the Class Scheduler; Maintain Cluster Authorization & time Define keys for commands you issue a lot; Maintain Disk Quotas; Define processes that are important to be in the dumpfile should the system crash; Configure I/O devices; Load or unload licenses; Maintain system parameters; Set & show your environment, privileges & default directory; Shutdown this and/or other systems; Maintain a start-up database; Add/Remove locally written system loadable images to the VMS database.
